We would like to invite you to participate in the annual East Bay Division Bocce Ball
Tournament set to take place at Sycamore Valley Park in Danville on June 29, 2023 from 6-9:30 p.m.

This event draws city officials and business representatives from cities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties as they battle it out to become the 2023 Bocce Champion. Throughout the evening you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with mayors, council members, city staff and members of the business community in a relaxed and fun-filled environment.

The tournament is a fundraiser in support of CitiPAC, the League of California Cities’ political action committee. Cal Cities needs the financial capacity to advocate for cities at the ballot box, and CitiPAC has been central to the success of protecting local democracy and tax dollars in past elections. The 2018 election, for example, demonstrates why CitiPAC is so impactful to California cities as Cal Cities supported a series of ballot measures that improves neighborhoods and the quality of life for California city residents. The measures included investments to affordable housing and homelessness, constitutionally protecting transportation funding; and
opposing any efforts to repeal new transportation funding at the ballot box.

We need your support! Join other local government advocates and sponsor the East Bay Division Bocce Ball Tournament. Corporate tickets for the event are $250 and sponsorship is available at a variety of levels (see attached flyer).

Please contact Cal Cities East Bay Regional Public Affairs Manager, Sam Caygill, to confirm your support or with any questions. She can be reached at 916-402-7258 or scaygill@calcities.org.

Thank you in advance for your support.
