SUMMARY:2023 East Bay Division Bocce Ball Tournament
DESCRIPTION:\n\nWe would like to invite you to participate in the annual Ea
st Bay Division Bocce BallTournament set to take place at Sycamore Valley
Park in Danville on June 29\, 2023 from 6-9:30 p.m.\n\nThis event draws ci
ty officials and business representatives from cities in Alameda and Contr
a Costa counties as they battle it out to become the 2023 Bocce Champion.
Throughout the evening you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle wi
th mayors\, council members\, city staff and members of the business commu
nity in a relaxed and fun-filled environment.\n\nThe tournament is a fundr
aiser in support of CitiPAC\, the League of California Cities’ political
action committee. Cal Cities needs the financial capacity to advocate for
cities at the ballot box\, and CitiPAC has been central to the success of
protecting local democracy and tax dollars in past elections. The 2018 el
ection\, for example\, demonstrates why CitiPAC is so impactful to Califor
nia cities as Cal Cities supported a series of ballot measures that improv
es neighborhoods and the quality of life for California city residents. Th
e measures included investments to affordable housing and homelessness\, c
onstitutionally protecting transportation funding\; andopposing any effort
s to repeal new transportation funding at the ballot box.\n\nWe need your
support! Join other local government advocates and sponsor the East Bay Di
vision Bocce Ball Tournament. Corporate tickets for the event are $250 and
sponsorship is available at a variety of levels (see attached flyer).\n\n
Please contact Cal Cities East Bay Regional Public Affairs Manager\, Sam C
aygill\, to confirm your support or with any questions. She can be reached
at 916-402-7258 or scaygill@calcities.org.\n\nThank you in advance for yo
 ur support.
