Members and Associates,

We are pleased to announce that the Council of Industries s partnering with the Industrial Association of Contra Costa County to host a follow-up webinar/roundtable on COVID-19 related regulations – AB 685 and the Cal/OSHA Emergency Temporary Standards.  The webinar will take place on April 1, 2021, 10:30 – 11:30 am.

Please use the Zoom link below to pre-register for this webinar.  After you pre-register, you will receive the login instructions in a separate email.

As some of you might recall, we held a webinar that focused on these regulations in December of 2020, which provided everyone with an explanation of what the regulations were requiring of employers , and what compliance looked like.  A lot has changed over the past few months, including the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.  Employers have also now had a chance to work with these regulations, and better understand the keys and challenges related to complying with them. Some of the areas we plan to address during the webinar include:

  • Employer requirements related to COVID-19
  • Notification requirements to employees
  • Employee training requirements
  • Questions related to COVID-19 testing
  • Questions related to vaccination issues
  • Social distancing requirements in the workplace

John Epperson and Ronnie Arias from the Buchalter law firm will once again be our guest presenters for this webinar.

We hope that you will be able to join us on April 1st.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
