The Industrial Association of Contra Costa County, Council of Industries, and Western States Petroleum Association are pleased to invite you to a Contra Costa County General Plan Update meeting on February 24, 2021, 10:30 am – 12:00 noon. Use the Zoom link at the bottom of this message to register in advance for this meeting. After you pre-register, you will receive the login instructions in a separate email.
Contra Costa County has been working on the General Plan Update for the past year, and while it is not scheduled to be completed until the end of 2022, a lot of work has already gone into it, and many recommendations have been submitted by various groups for consideration. The business/industrial sector’s voice must be heard during this update process.
Representatives from the County will provide us with a progress report on the General Plan Update, particularly areas that will or might have an impact on the business community. This will be a good opportunity for us to provide input and feedback, and ask questions or express concerns regarding some of the draft recommendations.
The following link provides details about Envision Contra Costa 2040, which includes the General Plan Update, the Climate Action Plan, and the Zoning Code Update, as well as the Environmental Review process for all three.
