CMTA is hosting its 2nd Annual Women Making CA event on March 8th that also happens to be International Women’s Day.
This women-focused event will address the challenges and opportunities for women in manufacturing. We are expected to have over 100 people in attendance, including students from local colleges, women leaders in manufacturing, legislators, and female business owners. We will also highlight business and non-profit organizations at our event, including Fly Brave Foundation. The organization is run by a mother who is helping adults with developmental disabilities find employment through seeing her son’s struggles as an adult with nonverbal autism.
